Abstract :
Nanometer sized AgrTiO2particles were synthesized by irradiation of an AgNO3solution containing colloidal TiO2 with light of wavelength l.)330 nm. The plasmon band for Ag clusters supported on TiO2 particles is red shifted and broadened relative to that for pure silver sol in aqueous solution. Furthermore, an obvious surface-enhanced Raman scattering for TiO2 with supported silver clusters was observed. q1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
