Abstract :

A system for positron-induced ion-desorption spectroscopy has been constructed. We report measurements of positron-induced hydrogen ion-desorption from clean and oxidized Ni surfaces. The hydrogen-ion-desorbed mechanism by re-emitted slow positrons will be discussed.
