Esophagus perforation continues to be a difficult diagnostic and management problem. Recommendations regarding treatment remain contraversial. 71 patients with perforation of esophagus were retrospectively reviewed at thoracic surgery unit of Imam Khomeini hospital, the teaching hospital of Tabriz University, between 1891 and 2991.
