چكيده لاتين :
Braced frames with infills are a common steel construction in Iran. In
many cases infill panels are also used. As braces are placed inside masonry wall, it
seems that their seismic behavior is different in comparison with braced fram e
without infill. The effects of injill panels in structures are usually neglected in design .
However, it is not always safe to neglect the infi lls. There is not any experimental
study on these frames, theref ore in this research, behavior ofhalf scale frames with
cross-bracing and infill are investigated The tests are done using cyclic loading s.
According to the results, interaction between injill and bracing in steel frames may
increase stiffness, strength and energy absorption
