چكيده لاتين :
The taxonomic status of the genus Secale L. in Iran was reviewed.
Morphological and taxonomic aspects of the taxa belonging to the genus
were studied based on a total number of 50 accessions and 104 herbarium
sheaths from a wide range of distribution of the genus in Iran. The results of
this study showed that the genus Secede occurs in Iran with two species: 1Secale
cereale L. subsp. cereale and subsp. ancesterale Zhuk., and 2- Secale
strictum (c. Presl) C. Presl subsp, strictum var. strictum and var. ciliariglume
(Boiss.) Fred. & G. Petersen.
