The title complex, [Nd(C6NO2H5)3(H2O)2]nn[ZnCl4]·nCl·2.5nH2O (1), was obtained by hydrothermal reactions and structurally
characterized by X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure analysis reveals that the title complex is characteristic of a novel polycationic
[Nd(C6NO2H5)3(H2O)2]n
3n+ one-dimensional chain-like structure.
