The study aims to measure the impact of privatization on the Jordan cement company from the viewpoint of Head office employees only, in terms of social welfare and job security, and the improvement of the production equipments and reducing costs, and the profits realized, and to which extent it has an impact on turnover and increasing unemployment. To achieve the above mentioned objectives, the researcher designed a self administrated questionnaire which is distributed to head office employees at Jordan Cement Company. Later on, an analysis is conducted through different statistical methods to test the hypothesis of the study. The study reveals that the privatization policy has a positive effect on the social welfare and job security of the employees of the Jordan cement company. While it has a negative effect on the reduction of the employees numbers and thus increasing the unemployment rate. Finally the study recommended effective tools to reduce the negative effects of the privatization policy
