This paper deals with the question of how to support accountability mechanisms in order to reduce corruption in the Libyan public sector . what are the main challenges and constraints in supporting accountability ? what kind of strategies can we suggest to enhance accountability ? it will start with the introduction of accountability and other concepts as theoretical framework . then the paper tries to discuss the corruption at the Libyan public sector . After that we look at what major challenges there are in supporting accountability this will be followed by a suggestion of strategy for the supporting of accountability for Libyan public sector .
