Libéralisation des flux de capitaux et crises financières :une réalité économique

This article provides an analysis of the relationship between the liberalization of capital flows and the appearance of financial crises. It examines the dangers associated with financial integration and how financially integrated countries have responded during and after the crisis. The analysis of previous experiences shows that financial integration can, in some cases, provoke crises and distortions likely to slow down the growth of countries most open to financial globalization.
