Artificial neural network (ANN), is a computation system which mimic the functional of a human brain. This type of study dubbed as artificial intelligence (AI).Understanding the functioning of human brain, mathematicians and computer scientists were able to develop mathematical models that mimic the pattern recognition and generalization capabilities of human brain. These mathematical models, when properly capable to learn patterns for a given set of data and can generalize and provide accurate information due to data that was not previously seen by the model. This process is similar to the way of human brain commits certain patterns to memory and recognize a patterns that is similar to previously seen patterns.These kinds of math. Models are referred to as artificial neural networks (ANN’s). Keyword : Artificial neural network, Multilayer Perceptron, Training Algorithm, Delta Rule .
