Pathos is one of the themes and literary genres that has long been regarded pets, poems which were written by poets of per-Islamic because of the grief of losing dearest relatives, represent archaism this them of literary Arabic. Although this genre does not have the dearest relatives but sometimes it is written in grief of losing scholars and rulers. Ahl-o-Beit (peace be upon them) whom always had a high position in human societies; they have always attracted the attention of poets. an‎d prominent poets of ever literary era have written poems in grief of this family. In contemporary era also the pathos of Ahl-o-Beit is taken into consideration poets, including the contemporary poets Lebanon have paid special attention to the greatness of this family and their poems have always been in the family elegy. In this article, we try to examine the pathos of Ahl-o-Beit in contemporary poetry in Lebanon, and to provide examples of their poetries, we analyzed the features, literary technics and the topics that considered by the poets in pathos of this family. In this research we study the works of joseph Al-hashem, boulos salama, raymokd kassis, and joseph Al-harb.
