The use of the term “Al-Hayyiz” is particularly evident in Algerian criticism. It was given special diligence by Abdul Malik Murtaad, who began to adjust the term at the lexical level and then practiced its concepts in his critical works and procedures. Abdul Malik chose to use the term “Al-Hayyiz” against “I′espace/space” among several terms that have convergent and overlapping concepts, including: the open area that we find around the Earth, and across the outer universe, it is more particular than the space which is more comprehensive and larger in terms of area, and he does not use the word “Place” because it is a traditional use that populates naiveness in the critical narrative studies and stands powerless of the possibility of the horses in their winged flights.
