Social control in Islamic thought and its impact on achieving the purpose of Sharia to preserve the nation's order

(Social control) is defined as: the harmony of the collective behavior of society in general resulting from all social processes that work on the compliance or subjugation of individuals, and the regulation of their behavior in accordance with the values, norms and legacies of society. It is one of the terms that modern social and educational studies have given great attention to. This system has a great impact on the advancement and progress of societies and the realization of the purpose of the Shariah, which is to preserve the nation’s system and guard values. This study came; To shed light on this term in Islamic thought in terms of: defining its concept, goals, objectives, means, mechanisms, and its impact on achieving the purpose of Sharia in preserving the public order of the nation, then the study was exposed to the most important challenges facing the system of social controls.
