هدفت هذه الدراسة الى تحليل درجة التزاحم السكني في الاراضي الفلسطينية، وبيان العوامل الموثرة فيها، وذلك من خلال البيانات التي وفرها مسح ظروف السكن 2015 الذي قام باجرائه الجهاز المركزي للاحصاء الفلسطيني. ولتحقيق هدف البحث، تم الاعتماد على المنهجين الوصفي والتحليلي. وتبين، خلال الدراسة، ان درجة التزاحم السكني في الاراضي الفلسطينية قد بلغت نحو 1.84 فردا/غرفة، وان هذه الدرجة فد تفاوتت بين 1.71 فردا/ غرفة في الضفة الغربية الى 2.08 فردا/غرفة في قطاع غزة. وقد كان لمتغيرات نوع المسكن، ومساحة المسكن، المحافظة، ونوع التجمع السكاني، وقطاع عمل رب/ ربة الاسرة، والمستوى التعليمي لرب/ ربة الاسرة تاثير واضح في تباينات درجة التزاحم السكني.

This study aimed to analyze the degree of housing overcrowding in the Palestinian territories, and to indicate the factors affecting it, through the data provided by the Housing Conditions Survey 2015, which was conducted by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics. To achieve the goal of the research, the descriptive and analytical approaches were relied upon. During the study, it was found that the degree of housing overcrowding in the Palestinian territories amounted to about 1.84 persons/room, and that this degree varied from 1.71 persons/room in the West Bank to 2.08 persons/room in the Gaza Strip. The variables of housing type, housing area, governorate, type of community, work sector of the head of the family, and the educational level of the head of the family had a clear impact on the variations in the degree of housing crowding.
