An Analytical Study of the Impact of the International Environment on the Arab Spring

This study aimed analyzing the effectiveness of the change in international environment to create the appropriate political environment for the success of political change in the Arab region through the use of media, political and cultural soft power tools in the favor of Western interests and make change in the major power politics in the region. That has in order to address the study hypothesis (In light of new world system, the international environment interactions affected the activation process of political change in the Arab world through the Arab Spring in the period from 2011 2015. The study depended on the descriptive and analytical approach to discus and presents the impact of the international environment during Arab Spring 2011-2015 through identifying the causes and consequences of these revolutions as well as the impact of the international environment interactions to provide a suitable environment to accelerate the process of political change in the Arab region. The study concluded that: United States has no longer possessed the dominating global force at the international level as result of various financial and economic crises, which recently hit it and affected its capability and the European unio‎n capabilities too to play a role in improving social and economic conditions in the Arab Spring countries. The modern western civilization has gained a global enormous ascendancy compared with the earlier civilizations due to their hidden and soft influence which re-formulated the life, thoughts and revenue patterns for many nations along with the spread of their soldiers and war machineries to the extent that these hidden and soft influence including the cultural, language and business & economic interests can not be separated from the phenomenon of international domination with its broad and interlaced sense. Major power of international environment has played a direct role in the Arab protests through creating appropriate environment for the success of the Arab revolutionary movement in order to achieve its interests in the region so in this area, reactions varies to address what suitable to achieve these interests is.
