Synthesis and characterization of metal complexes derived from 5-phenyl amino -2-(2 -hydroxy phenyl)- 1,3,4-thiadiazole.

A new deri vative 5 - phenyl amino 2 - ( 2 - hydroxy phenyl ) I , 3 , 4 - thi adiazo le of the fo rmula (C 14HI IN3SO)was prepared by cyc li zation of I-phenyl - thiosemicarbazide with 2-hydroxy benzo ic acid in presence of oxo-phsphorous trichloride .The new ligand (L) has bee n used as ligand to prepare an umber of metal complexes[ Cr(!
