This study aims to reveal the problems that the agricultural activities face in Al -Kifil commune and the possibility of improving and developing these activities by defining the problems that obstruct this development. The agricultural activity is of the most important economic activates as it provides work opportunities and participates in the optimum use of land where many problems obstruct the development of this important productive field. So the aim of this is to exhibit the most important problems resulting from the natural, human and biological activities that affect the agricultural activity in Al- Kifil commune, as well as the methods of dealing with these problems and limiting them so as to develop and improve this activity. The study is ended with the results and conclusions such as:- 1-The agricultural activity in Al- Kifil commune faces currently many natural, human and biological problems that affect this activity, yet these problems are solvable by adopting many methods and resolutions in a way that could support the agricultural activity development and improvement in Al- Kifil commune. 2- The surface water in the study area has good qualities for agriculture, yet the area suffers from water decreasing in quality and quantity due to the policy of Tigris and Euphrates sources countries in addition to the west of water due to neglecting the modern irrigation methods which affect agriculture in Al- Kifil commune.
