LIABILITY OF THE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ARBITRATOR IN THE JORDANIAN CIVIL CODE

The Scientific Research Arbitrator is a scientific expert, academic researcher, qualified and specialized in a particular scientific field. He is characterized by ethical and scientific controls and values, which makes him trustful before the academic bodies. The applicant bodies send to the arbitrator such scientific research for evaluation and award purposes to ensure if it is appropriate and valid for publication. In order to avoid liability and probable claim for compensation by the applicant for arbitration , he shall conduct arbitration and evaluation in accordance with laws and regulations, without insulting and defaming the applicant for arbitration, or to prejudice his private life or honor or respect, or to abide by the moral and scientific controls and values for arbitration.
