Sociology of protest: A review of civil protest movements in Iraq after Julay31. 2015. Dr.Ali Taher Alhammood. The civil protest movements in Iraq after 2003, became more as a distinguished land mark of the protests nature in contemporary Iraqi political life. After decades of considering the marginalization ,injustice, tyranny as the main motives of popular protests against the successive authorities( at least within the Baath era), now they came to credit a modern state building demands. These new protests lane on new sets of motivations are based on trans- sectarian and trans-nationalism goals. The research aiming to investigate the components of recent civil protests. Also trying to find out the rule middle class on it. Mainly focusing on the resistant revealed by the Islamic -based political parties largely dominating the power of state in Iraq. The research suggest a main assumption of considering that the protests movements are basically of Shiaa rooted inceptions. an‎d they were largely affected of Shiaa-Shiaa division. Taking the dispute about the final state outlet in consideration. The research went on details of :the protests components and demands, the attitude of supreme Shiaa -clerics (Marjiaia), the react committed by main political parties in power. Locking to identify the possible consequences of these protests, we depend on : archive data( official statistics, media releases ),Personal interview with key ruling activists.
