    Piles are useful in lowland areas in order to improve the properties of the soil. Several methods are available to predict the ultimate resistance of a pile in clays and sand. Unlike shallow foundations, deep foundations have been designed for specific applications. These applications include: bearing high loads and reduce poor soil is weak, and so forth. There are three different categories (1) Static method, (2) Dynamic method, (3) Laboratory Methods.
