Models based on the Boussinesq equation are often used to study tidal signals in coastal
aquifers. This paper applied Kansa method, a meshless collocation technique to the One
dimensional space-fractional Boussinesq equation. The Kansa method is a meshless technique
and Compared with the finite difference and nite element methods is capable for high-
dimensional irregular domain problems. In this paper we first use the Kansa approach with
substitute the solution with summation of a radial basis function, ϕ(r), then for the time
discretization we will using the finite difference scheme. For approximate the space fractional
of radial basis function we will use of Gauss-Jacobi quadrature method. Finally linear system
of algebraic equations will be solved. one numerical example clarify the effectiveness and
accuracy of the considered method.
