In this paper, a numerical algorithm, based on the homotopy perturbation method, is applied for solving heat equation with an initial condition and non local boundary conditions. The analytic solution of the linear heat equation is calculated in the form of a series with easily computable components. We use three examples where the numerical application shows that the obtained solution coincides with the exact one.
