In this paper, a mathematical model is developed to minimize machine voids and
exceptional elements in manufacturing. A nonlinear model is developed, exemplified, solved and the
results are discussed. Our results confirm that the local optimized solution has been achieved for the
model such that it is superior to the previously reported works
