Crystal Growth Study of Aluminum Oxide Nanoparticles by XRD Pattern

Aluminum oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by using citric acid and aluminum nitrate with sol-gel method.The resulting sol composed of Al(OH)3 particles coalesced and became a transparent gel and calcinationtemperature effect were investigated in temperatures of 800, 900, 1000 and 1100°C on the size and phasetransition. The crystal structure, nanocrystallites size and phase of nanoparticles were studied by XRDanalyses. The result showed that nanocrystallites size and phase of the nanoparticles changed with increasingcalcination temperature from 900°C to 1000 and 1100°C.
