This paper presents a study of the particle size distribution (PSD) and fluid dynamic in a gas fluidized bed of poly propylene (PP) by means of computational fluid dynamic (CFD). Fluidized bed particles are sticky because of upper xylen solubility of PP. Particle mixtures are composed of spherical particles with diameter 3mm and 1mm for PP. PSD and aggregation effect of sticky PP accounted whit population balance equation. The articles are initially packed randomly in a rectangular bed and then fluidized by gas uniformly injected at the bottom of the bed. Volume averaged particle size variation with time and average particle size profile showed with time. Results present particle size is growing up rapidly and size segregation take place and fluidization is reducing then after 3 second bed choking take place.
