In our previous work a single subunit of the De Young–Keizer (DYK) model was simulated using Gillespie
algorithm. The model has been considered in its complete form with eight states. In the present work we used a
modified Gillespie algorithm to investigate the effect of temperature on the conditions which affect the open state
of the model. Ca2+ concentrations were the subject of fluctuation in the previous works, while in this study the
population of the states is the subject of stochastic fluctuations. We found out that increasing the temperature
causes increase in the open probability, and decrease in the frequencies fluctuations. The time-dependent reaction
pattern could still be seen with increase in the stability of such patterns in different time domains. Also the effect
of temperature on the intensities and frequencies of the fluctuations and Ca2+ inhibitions were studied.
