One of the polymers has been used most frequently in recent years in many kinds of industries, is polyurethane foam (PUF). In order to increase the service life of PUF coatings a few studies have been done. In this paper the results of these studies consists of different types and mechanisms of PUF coating degradation and also different assessment methods of PUFs degradation have been reviewed.
