In the present work, the effects of Accumulative Roll Bonding (ARB) process on the behavior of anodizing of Al 1050 were investigated. The thickness of the created oxide layers were studied by optical microscope and micro-hardness of the Al samples in different ARB cycles were compared to each other before and after anodizing. In higher ARB cycles, thinner anodic oxides were formed but the micro-hardness of the samples got improved.
