In this paper, a high performance
control applied to speed control of
interior permanent magnet synchronous
motors. The design strategy is performed
with constraint on the power factor, i.e.,
the power factor is maximized. In order
to enhance the performance of the
control system, a decoupling current
vector control strategy is developed to
ensure high performance operation.
Simulation results reveal the
effectiveness of the proposed controller.
