Influence of polymeric fibers on Engineered Cementitious Composites behavior under various strain rates

In fact, very little research has been conducted to investigate of tensile behavior of ECC using polymeric fiber under dynamic loading rate. In this paper we investigate the influence of polymeric fibers on Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) behavior under various strain rates ranging from static to seismic rates according to EN 12467 standard. Results show a great improvement in tensile ductility, damage-tolerance and strain capacity of ECC.
