This paper presents the effect of adding anti-reflection layers on GaAs solar cell with Ga0.47In0.53As in the window layer. The efficiency changes, short circuit current and open circuit voltage of uncoated solar cells and anti-reflective coatings have been compared and considered. Different materials layers of Al2O3 and TiO2 were selected as anti-reflective coatings. Various thicknesses of these materials were investigated by keeping the cell temperature constant at 300°K. Due to the reflection and band gap indices, the anti-reflective coating of two layers AL2O3 / TiO2 was selected as an appropriate coating for GaAs solar cells.
