In this paper, we compare the residual and past lifetimes of two (n − k + 1)-out-of-n systems
with non-identical and dependent components according to a multivariate log-normal distribution. We also
show that two univariate doubly truncated normal distributions with same variance and different means are
stochastically ordered with respect to hazard rate stochastic ordering.
