VISRAMINI is an Iranian literature that has been written by akr_al_Din_As`ad_Astarabadi. Oliver Wardrop has translated it in English from the Georgian translation of this book. Oliver Wardrop omitted seven initial chapters of this book which contain beliefs of Iranian and writer of this book and historical antecedent of this book. He also omitted the writer`s goal of writing this book which is in chapter seven. Now, his translation has no historical antecedent and does not consist of the story of writer of this book. His translation also is valueless, because he omitted whatever was valuable for Fakr_al_Din and whatever was in contrast with his personal ideas and beliefs. He was not faithful to the source text; though it`s the most important factor that a translator should observe.
A translator should only be a translator and should not criticize, change the original the original version or omit some parts which are in contrast to h/her beliefs. Changing is editor`s job. If a translator does this job, his work will not have the value of translation; as Oliver Wardrop has done this wrong work.
