A PROMETHEE-based approach for performance evaluation of digital supply chains with respect to SCOR model

Nowadays, no company can ignore the supply chain management and yet expect to survive. Successful supply chain management has been recognized as a key opportunity for improving the success and the competitive performance of the companies. One of the most important issues in the supply chain management is increasing the performance of the whole chain and this aim can be attained with digitalization of the supply chain. The proposed approach consists of three scenarios that each of these scenarios contains criteria that had been obtained through studying the concept of digital supply chain and modifying these criteria according to the SCOR model metrics. Each of these scenarios is based on PROMETHEE outranking method. After implementing these scenarios and evaluating and ranking of suppliers, according to the proposed criteria, this study proposed an approach for classification and categorization of the suppliers in eight groups on a three-dimensional space. Eventually, in order to improve the performance of the suppliers, some action plans have been suggested.
