The relatively broad and global use of antibiotics in the livestock industry has led to the banning of the use of all antibiotics as growth and health stimulants in the livestock industry since 2006, by raising concerns about the emergence of antibiotic-resistant microbes and their survival in animal tissues, especially meat. The use of antibiotic alternatives such as organic acids, probiotics, perbiotics, herbal extracts and medicinal plants, and more recently, common nanoparticles. Along with the advancement of the nanoscale industry, attention has been focused on nanoparticles, especially nanoparticles, as an antibacterial agent and growth stimulant. But it has recently been suggested that silver nanoparticles, along with their benefits, can induce oxidative stress and accumulate in the tissues of the body. It is possible that the nanoparticle penetrates from the gastrointestinal tract through the blood into the general circulation and potentially interacts with various metabolites such as plasma proteins, coagulation factors, platelets, white blood cells and red blood cells, and exerts oxidative stress, It has a negative effect on the structure and physiology of the cell, oxidative metabolism, membrane fat structure, and performance. However, there is no collective agreement on the cytotoxicity of the nanoparticle. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the use of silver nanoparticles and to investigate the possible induction of oxidative stress in response to these particles when used in livestock and poultry industries.
