In this paper, a model is proposed for optimal scheduling of energy flow between two connected residential energy hubs, with the aim of minimizing consumers costs. The hubs consist of some components such as photovoltaic system, electric and heat energy storage systems, combined heat and power (CHP) generator unit and electric heat pump (EHP) unit. In the proposed model, a short-term optimal plan for a 24-hour time interval is performed to schedule amount of electric and heat power injected into each hub and also interactive relation between them. Simulation result shows that by utilizing different components within energy hub and connecting multiple energy hubs together, the total energy cost will decrease significantly.
