Development of Sustainable Supply Chain Management via Green Logistics – a literature review

In today s world, green logistics is a vital concept for a sustainable companies. Environmental issues are alarming around the world, companies are constantly pressured to extend environmentally friendly and friendly operations. Commitment to the natural environment has become a fundamental variable. Therefore, the interest in developing green logistics from companies, government, and the public is increasing dramatically especially as traditional logistics cannot meet the needs of modern society and have a great impact on the environment. Green logistics link economic, environmental and social aspects. However, in many cases the creation of a balance between different needs is difficult due to the nature of the multilateral discipline of green logistics. Given this challenge, this paper addresses the concept of sustainability as an application for green logistics. In addition, the relationship between sustainability and green logistics has been given. The results of this study provide scientific basis for this relationship. This will reduces the research by contributing interdisciplinary dialogue; which helps improve the quality of the research results.
