مديريت دانش اصطلاحي قديمي است و استراتژي هاي مديريت دانش موضوع جديد و مهمي در بسياري از كسب و كارهاي قرن حاضر است.مقوله ي دانش و مديريت دانش رفته رفته جاي خود را در سازمان ها باز مي كند.مديريت دانش فرايند تبديل اطلاعات و دانش فكري به ارزش هاي ماندگار است.براي روشن شدن اهميت مديريت دانش ضروريست كه دانش و مديريت دانش را به عنوان مفاهيم جداگانه مورد بحث قرار دهيم.استفاده از مديريت دانش در دانشگاه ها در عصرجهاني سازي رقابت هاي افزاينده و تغييرات تكنولوژيكي به يك امر حياتي تبديل شده است.مديريت دانش را ميتوان فرايند انتقال اطلاعات و سرمايه هاي فكري دانست كه مي تواند اطلاعات مناسب را درزمان نياز دراختيار افرادقرار دهد بنابراين موسسات آموزش عالي مي توانند به واسطه ي ايجاد و ذخيره ي دانش مناسب،دسترسي به اطلاعات،افزايش شرايط علمي و مبتني بر اطلاعات و ارزش گذاري دانش از مديريت دانش بهره مند گردند.هدف از مقاله ي حاضر بررسي نقش مديريت دانش در آموزش عالي است.

Knowledge management is an old term and knowledge management strategies are a new and important issue in many of the current century s businesses. Knowledge and knowledge management has become increasingly important in organizations. Knowledge management is the process of information and knowledge conversion It is important to understand the importance of knowledge management for clarifying the importance of knowledge management. Knowledge and knowledge management are discussed as separate concepts. The use of knowledge management at universities in the era of the globalization of increasing competition and technological change has become a vital issue. Knowledge management can be considered as a process of information transfer and intellectual capital Which can provide the right information at the time of the need for individuals, so higher education institutions can benefit from knowledge management through the creation and storage of appropriate knowledge, access to information, increasing scientific and information-based knowledge, and knowledge valuation. This paper examines the role of knowledge management in higher education.
