Designing Ethical Decision-Making Model Among Iran’s Professional Soccer Players

The purpose of this study was a survey on designing an ethical decision-making model among Iran’s professional soccer players. To this end, ethical position in professional soccer questionnaire (EPPSQ) with 15 questions, dilemmas in professional soccer questionnaire (DPSQ) with 28 questions, pahlavanship measurement questionnaire (PMQ) with 18 questions and environmental perception questionnaire (EPQ) with 23 questions were employed and randomly administered to 162 Iranian premier league soccer players from Rah Ahan, Naft Tehran, Shahid Sepasi, Foolad Khoozestan, Shahin Booshehr, Sepahan Esfahan, Malavan Anzali, Naft Abadan, Peykan Tehran, Pas Hamedan, Alominium Hormozgan teams. The content validity of instrument was confirmed by experts and the internal consistency of the instruments proved in a pilot study. Results showed that ethical ideology, Pahlavanship and professional backgrounds have significant influences on ethical decision-making variance (P 0.05). On the basis of the results, it can be argued that Iranian premier league soccer players have ethical skepticism regarding the fairness of getting a promotion.
