The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between group cohesion and social capital in personnel of Isfahan province youth and sport offices. The statistical population included all staff of Isfahan province’s youth and sport offices (N=395) from which 196 individuals were selected based on Kerjce and Morgan table via random classification method. To evaluate group cohesion and social capital, Kertnar and Angllo Kenaki questionnaire (1993) Hesami questionnaire (2012) were used respectively. The results of this study showed a positive and significant relationship between group cohesion and social capital (r=0.91). Besides, all of the cohesion group subscales were found to be significant predictors for social capital.
