The aim of this research was to calculate the relative contribution of social development and self-management on PE teachers’ job engagement. The method of this study was survey (correlation), and the total population included all of the PE teachers in 3 educational levels in Isfahan in 1395 (2016) (N= 570). The number of participants was calculated 230 according to the Kerjcie and Morgan’s (1970) method. The method of sampling was stratified random sampling according to the total population of PE teachers in all of six educational regions of Isfahan. The social development questionnaire (Laik, 2007), self-management questionnaire (Manz, 2009), as well as job engagement scale (Schaufeli, Taris Van Rhenen, 2008) employed in this research. The Pearson correlation test as well as regression test were used for analyzing data. Based on the results, there was a significant correlation between social development and self-management dimensions with job engagement dimensions (p≤ 0.05). Furthermore, PE teachers’ job engagement would be predicted by social development and self-management dimensions
