The aim of present study was to determine the relationship between organizational socialization and psychological commitment to team in soccer players. The method was descriptive cohort that was performed in field and the purpose was applicable. The samples of study consist of all players of Premier and Asia vision League teams , that 169 soccer players by stratified random sampling were selected as sample. Measuring Tools of this study were a standard organizational socialization and Mahoney s psychological commitment questionnaires. Face and content validity of questionnaires have been confirmed by different researchers.The reliability of questionaires measured by Kolomogrov- Smirnov tests. To analyze the data we used (Pearson correlation coefficient and one-sample T tests with SPSS software version.19 at alpha levels of 0.05. . Results showed that there was a significant correlation between organizational sociability and its elements, formal, group, individual, continuous, and discrete socialization, and psychological commitment. However, there was no relationship between informal sociability and psychological commitment. So, it can be said that in order to increase psychological commitment in athletes and newly-added members of team, managers and authorities of soccer clubs should provide socialization process for all team players
