The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between social and intellectual capitals with job burnout in the Office of Youth and Sports of West and East Azerbaijan Provinces. Study population consisted of all employees (with at least a diploma) of the Office of Youth and Sports of West and East Azerbaijan Provinces. A number of 140 questionnaires were collected and distributed among the subjects of the study, and a number of 100 questionnaires were analyzed. In this study, there were three main variables. For measuring intellectual capital variables we used the Bontis standardized questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.83. The social capital variable was investigated by KAMKAR questionnaire with a of reliability 0.90. And for job burnout, Maslach Jackson with a reliability of 0.82 was applied. In this study, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, one sample T test, and Pearson correlation and regression analysis were used for analyzing data. Findings showed that intellectual and social capitals had a significant relationship with job burnout. Also, it was also observed that there were significant relationships between the dimensions of intellectual capital and job burnout, and the components of social capital and job burnout.
