Survey Of Physical Activity Place In Leisure Times Of Tele Communication Staff In Fars Province

Leisure times is an activity by which people can develop their talents without work place compulsions, and life necessities develop personality and it causes to job satisfaction and increasing the efficiency. Physical education is one of the leisure activities that plays an important role to maintain the mental and physical health. The aim of this research was to study the physical education and leisure times of dispatch workers in Fars province. The statistical population of this research, consist of the workers of dispatch, and based on last information they were 800 persons. A number of 260 persons according to Morgan’s table (162 male and 98 female), randomly selected as subjects . In this descriptive-analytical study, data has been gathered by a validated questionare. Data were analyzed in two parts of descriptive and inferential statistics. We used Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to determine the normality of data, and one sample t test and ANOVA for analyzing research hypothesis. SPSS software version 16 used to analysis of data. Results of this study showed that there was no significant differences between the dispatch workers participation in physical education and sports in leisure times according to education level and income of subjects , but there was a significant difference between their participations in sports in leisure times according to sexuality.
