ماشين معماري مدرن مدام در حال حركت و تغيير است؛ اين نوع تفكر در ساخت و ساز مسكن امروزي تأثير زيادي داشته است. از اينرو يافتن هويت مطلوب و اصيل ايراني و پرداختن به مباني و اصول و كاربردي كردن آن جهت بهره‌گيري در معماري مسكن معاصر ضروري به نظر مي‌رسد. در اين مقاله به مطالعه در مباني نظري و ويژگيهاي فضاهاي مسكوني در معماري سنتي اقليم سرد پرداخته شده است و با بررسي تطبيقي با نمونه‌هاي موجود و در نظر گرفتن نيازهاي در حال تغيير استفاده‌كنندگان و فناوري‌هاي جديد به ارايه پيشنهادهايي در زمينه الگوهاي طراحي معماري مسكن معاصر مي‎پردازيم.بر اساس نتايج اين تحقيق دستيابي به فضاهاي مطلوب مسكوني از مسير رعايت معيارهاي پاسخدهي فضا مانند تحقق هويت اسلامي و فرهنگ اصيل ايراني در زمينه معماري، احترام به سنت‌ها، پيوند با طبيعت و در عين حال بهره گيري از فناوري‌هاي نوين امكان پذير است.

The modern architecture of the machine constantly moving and changing. This type of thinking in today`s housing construction have great impact. Hence find the desired and noble Iranian identity and addressing the basics and fundamentals and applied it to contemporary housing architecture decisionsrequired to appear. This article will study in the theoretical basics and features of traditional architecture in the residential spaces of the cold climate. A comparative review of existing samples and taking into account the changing needs and use new technology to offer suggestions in the field of contemporary housing architecture design patterns. Based on the results of this research to achieve a desirable residential spaces of the answers provided criteria to observe space such as the realization of the Islamic identity and culture in the field of Iranian traditional architecture, the respect for tradition, a link with the nature and at the same time taking advantage of the new technologies is possible.
