بهينه سازي كاربري اراضي پيرامون آثار تاريخي به عنوان بخشي از فرآيند برنامه ريزي كاربري اراضي و يكي از اساسي ترين سرمايه گذاري هاي فردي و جمعي مي باشد كه آثار آن در ابعاد اقتصادي، اجتماعي و روان شناختي امور وابسته به گردشگري نيز منعكس مي شود. هدف از پژوهش حاضر معرفي مؤلفه هاي مناسب در جهت بهسازي و احياء بافت فرسوده بلوك گلستان تبريز مي باشد. در اين راستا ارزيابي كاربري هاي موجود و تعيين سازگاري، مطلوبيت، مناسب بودن و وابستگي آن ها، شناخت كمبودهاي بافت در نظر داشتن عوامل تعيين كننده اي چون شيوه بهره بري از فضا، نحوه حركت در مسير، الگوهاي رفتاري و نوع روابط اجتماعي نوع فعاليت هاي تفريحي و فراغتي و ... در منطقه تاريخي_فرهنگي شهر تبريز از نكاتي هستند كه توجه به آن ها براي تعريف فضاي شهري مطلوب در اولويت قرار مي گيرد تا راهكارها وايده هايي مناسب جهت سازگاري هرچه بيشتر اين فضاها با آثار تاريخي موجود ارائه گردد و ميزان جذب جمعيت و زمان ماندگاري وي در اين بافت را ارتقاء بخشد.
