تحقيق حاضر به منظور، بررسي همسويي مديريت پروژه با عوامل هشت گانه استراتژي سازماني و بررسي كارايي چارچوب پيشنهادي در قالب مطالعه موردي(پنج پروژه عمراني در شركت x)، انجام گرفته است. از اينرو محقق برآن است كه با بررسي روش‌ها و رويكردهاي مختلف ارتباط بين تدوين و اجراي استراتژي‌ها با مديريت پروژه‌ها و مشكلات موجود در اين ارتباط كه اغلب ناشي از ضعف فرآيندي است را معين و چارچوبي كاربردي جهت همسويي پروژه‌ها با استراتژي‌هاي سازماني ارائه و يا حداقل يكي از روش‌هاي موجود را توسعه و بهبود دهد. اين تحقيق در گروه تحقيقات كاربردي و روش آن توصيفي پيمايشي و ميداني مي‌باشد و از روش كتابخانه‌اي و پيمايشي جهت گرد آوري اطلاعات استفاده شده، ابزار جمع آوري اطلاعات در اين تحقيق پرسشنامه پس از انجام روايي و پايايي مي باشد. براي تحليل آماري داده‌هاي حاضر، از فنون آمار توصيفي (تنظيم جداول و نمودارهاي توصيفي) و استنباطي (آزمون T تك نمونه اي و آزمون فريدمن) استفاده شده است.در اين راستا، ضمن بررسي فرآيند مديريت استراتژيك در سازمان، اقدامات لازم براي اجراي استراتژي ها، مدل‌هاي موجود براي مديريت پروژه‌ها و مديريت استراتژيك پروژه‌ها، معيارها و عوامل موثر در سنجش ميزان همسويي پروژه‌ها با استراتژي‌هاي سازمان، ضرورت و اهميت همسويي استراتژيك در اجراي استراتژي‌هاي سازماني تبيين شده است. سپس با عنايت به دستاوردهاي حاصل از آن، نسبت به ارائه ي چارچوب همسويي پروژه‌ها و توسعه و بهبود مدلهاي موجود با استراتژي‌هاي تدوين شده سازمان اقدام گرديده است. در يك شركت پروژه محور مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است.
