The aim of this research work is to investigate the self-healing behavior in the sandwich structures by compression test. Firstly, epoxy resin was capsulated through interfacial polymerization by urea-formaldehyde shell. In the second step, hollow microcapsules were fabricated and then filled through vacuum system by triethylenetetramine(TETA) hardener. Then epoxy and hardner microcapsules with ratio of 10:1 were dispersed in epoxy resin. In the following, the sandwich structure was fabricated by this prepared epoxy resin. In the next step, this sample was damaged by drop down damage. After healing the sandwich structure, compression test was done. The obtained results showed that compression properties of fabricated sandwich structures were recovered approximately 70% after passing 3 days.
