چكيده فارسي :
This study presents the response of rubber panel under high velocity impact. High velocity impact tests are performed on the rubber panels and impact resistance is investigated. The ballistic limit and residual velocity of samples are measured. Natural rubber is vulcanized, a process by which the rubber is heated and sulfur, carbon black, Calcium carbonate, Zinc oxide and volcacit are added. The mixing is carried out by two-roll mixing mill to produce a uniform product. The cure characteristics of composition are investigated by using rheometer and the samples are prepared at the appropriate temperature and pressure. Samples are limited to all 4 sides constrained completely in fixture and are shot by a hemispherical projectile. Due to the viscoelastic and damping properties of rubber, it is an appropriate choice for blast protection and impact absorption.
