In this paper, the response of low-velocity impact on Nano-FG rectangular plate is considered. The classical plate theory is used by assuming the elastic behavior of materials. By selecting distribution of volume fraction FGM and the non-local elastic theory, the effects of a small scale are determined using the Mori-Tanaka method. The equilibrium equations of plate are derived by using the minimum potential energy and the modified Hertz law. Variables of volume fraction index, initial low velocity impactor, plate dimensions and non-local parameter are investigated. Increasing of volume fraction index leads to a decrease in the ceramic term of FGM which reduces the local and total softness of the plate. Contact force and the transverse deformation have been directly related with the initial velocity of the impactor. By increment of the plate dimensions, the deformation and constant force increase. In the effect of the non-local parameter, the maximum deformation occurs at the maximum value of this variable. This behavior is due to join the atoms as springs which are increasing the non-local parameters and the flexibility of the nanoscale.
